Attracting the right foreign investment in Cambodia is critical for economic growth and development. 

 

Australia is supporting the Development of Cambodia (CDC) develop a three-year Investment Promotion Strategy focused on the electronics and agro-processing sectors. 

 

Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) recently held consultations with the CDC, other government officials and the private sector to support Cambodia align its investment promotion efforts with international best practice. 

 

This initiative is part of Australia’s broader support for inclusive growth and advances Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040, promoting two-way trade and investment in the region.
