Australia Promotes Sustainable Water Management in Cambodia at the World Water Forum

Australia is proud to support Cambodia’s efforts to improve water resources management and access to clean water.

Recently, we supported 14 Cambodian delegates to attend the 10th World Water Forum in Bali, Indonesia.

The delegates represented key Government agencies, the Cambodia Water Supply Association (CWA), and water operators.

They exchanged valuable knowledge and best practices with regional experts, including Indonesian officials, and with Kenya on their successful Water Sector Trust Fund.

This experience will inform Cambodia's development of a Clean Water Development Fund, which Australia is supporting. The fund aims to increase the supply of clean water in rural areas, particularly for women and persons with disabilities.
