Australia and Cambodia reinforce partnership for resilient, inclusive and sustainable economic growth through our Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) program.

Yesterday, First Secretary Amber Cernovs co-chaired the meeting with H.E. ROS Seilava, Secretary of State, Ministry of Economic and Finance.

 

The meeting showcased CAPRED’s key strategic priorities and achievements and how these align with the government’s Pentagonal Strategy to address Cambodia’s development challenges. The discussion also focused on climate resilience and building an inclusive economy for all. 

 

In attendance were committee members from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries; the Ministry of Commerce; the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation; and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. 

 

This first CAPRED Steering Committee meeting underscored Australia’s commitment to partnering with Cambodia in building resilient, inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
