The study examines key insights about varieties, market demands, consumer preferences and trends, price, product utilization and potential buyers. This information, when used strategically, has the potential to generate long-term benefits for Cambodian agriculture.

It lists the nine most promising crops for export to markets in Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member countries and Europe.

Australia’s new economic development program, the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) aims to modernise Cambodia’s agriculture sector and promote sustainable, inclusive and resilient economic growth. It builds on the former Cambodia-Australia Agriculture Value Chain Program (CAVAC) which produced this study.
