Cambodia’s coffee industry is growing fast, but local farmers currently supply only 10 per cent of domestic coffee demand. This creates a major opportunity for farmers in Cambodia’s highland areas, where the climate and terrain are perfect for coffee growing.
Australia is working with Cambodian coffee companies and smallholder farmers to improve coffee yields, quality and consistency. This helps many farmers from indigenous communities earn higher incomes and creates sustainable jobs.
