Australia is supporting Cambodia’s transition to renewable energy by helping build a skilled and inclusive clean energy workforce.

With Australian Government funding, the Women in Clean Energy Internship (WiCE) program is providing young female engineering graduates with hands-on experience at solar farms and clean energy companies across Cambodia, allowing participants to build skills for future careers while advancing Cambodia’s clean energy goals.

Meet Eh Sonthorng, an intern in Kampong Chhnang, as she shares how the program strengthened her technical skills and confidence, proving women can thrive and lead in the energy sector.

Inclusive opportunities power a sustainable future.
