The Senior Safeguard Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safeguarding policies across all CAPRED activities and downstream partners. This includes ensuring DFAT compliance, conducting risk assessments, training staff and partners, and strengthening reporting mechanisms for safeguarding concerns.

Women remain significantly underrepresented in Cambodia’s clean energy sector, particularly in technical roles such as solar farm operations and maintenance. This internship program is designed to increase opportunities for women to participate in Cambodia’s clean energy sector by offering six months of practical, hands-on experience to outstanding female graduates from the Institute of Electrical Science (IES), the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), and other engineering schools. Through placements and professional support, participants will gain real-world exposure to various aspects of the solar industry—such as design, operations and maintenance, performance monitoring, and site supervision—depending on their assigned sites, while also receiving technical and soft-skills training to strengthen their capabilities and support long-term career development in the renewable energy sector.
CAPRED is seeking a highly motivated and experienced consultant with strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills to assist in assessing the constraints and opportunities associated with increasing supermarkets’ domestic linkages (that is, the share of local products sold by supermarkets in Cambodia). The consultant will conduct targeted research to evaluate the supply and demand dynamics within supermarket value chains. The work will primarily include interviews with agricultural producers, supermarkets, retailers and distributors/collectors.
If the initial research identifies potential areas for further exploration, the study is likely to be extended into a longer-term research project, and subsequently a potential pilot linkages program.
This expert will proactively identify and attract foreign investors to Cambodia's agri-food sector and other associated sectors, facilitating JVs, M&As, and greenfield projects. The expert will work closely with the CARPED team to provide comprehensive support to investors throughout the investment process, including negotiation and liaison with the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC). Additionally, the expert will build the CAPRED team's capacity in investor engagement and relationship management.
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Portfolio Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of CAPRED’s MERL Strategy and System, ensuring robust systems for data collection, analysis, reporting, and knowledge sharing. This role will facilitate evidence-based decision making across portfolios, contributing to adaptive learning and demonstrating program results to stakeholders.
