Australia prioritises Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) in all collaborations between government counterparts, development partners and other stakeholders.

Last week, the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED) held a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on GEDSI approaches with over 60 participants to identify potential partners and build networks to achieve more inclusive growth in Cambodia.

Participants shared experiences and learnt from each other about GEDSI integration or promotion in their different sectors and how they could collaborate to maximise their impact, avoid duplication and make the best use of resources over the next five years.

CAPRED is Australia’s flagship AUD87 million economic development program where GEDSI is integrated into all activities. CAPRED aims to work with relevant government counterparts and other key players to help Cambodia build sustainable, inclusive and resilient economic growth.
