Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) account for 90 per cent of businesses in Cambodia.
Recently, more than 2,700 MSME owners shared their perspectives through a country-wide survey, supported by Australia through CAPRED in partnership with The Asia Foundation.
Business owners provided insights on business performance, climate impacts, labour and skills, digital adoption, social protection benefits, and access to finance, among other topics.
The survey findings will be shared in the coming months to inform government policy design, monitoring and implementation – ultimately driving investment and helping MSMEs succeed, as part of Australia’s efforts to ensure all Cambodians benefit equitably from growth.
