Women-led businesses and female entrepreneurs are central to Cambodia’s economic development. Yet women face many challenges and barriers to operate and grow their businesses due to gender stereotypes, prescribed gender roles and limited access to technology, finance, and professional networks.
Through the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED), 14 Cambodian female entrepreneurs recently visited Australia to meet with business owners, senior government officials and women’s association leaders to exchange knowledge and build professional networks. |
