Australia, Cambodia Laud Clean Energy Pioneers

Australia supports Cambodia to deliver a clean, affordable, secure and reliable energy grid and achieve its climate goals.

Last week, Ambassador Whyatt concluded Cambodia's Clean Energy Week 2023 by bringing clean energy leaders together to celebrate achievements and present the Clean Energy Awards to three winners.

We were very pleased that HE Keo Rottanak, Minister for Mines and Energy, was able to deliver the keynote speech and that we had such strong attendance by other ministers, senior officials, the private sector and members of the Cambodian and international community.

Congratulations to the three Clean Energy Award winners:

• For Energy Efficiency: Mr Sophanna Nun from Green Move Consulting 
• For Ecosystem Support: Ms Thida Khea from SOGE Cambodia
• For Clean Energy Technologies: Mr Chun Man Jung and Mr Sorentrea Luob from VERY WORDS
